All the Tea in Chicago by Susan Blumberg-Kason

All the Tea in Chicago
by Susan Blumberg-Kason
Second edition

If you enjoy drinking tea and live in Chicago then you need to read this book. Already in it's second edition, All the Tea in Chicago covers high tea, loose-leaf tea shops and restaurants as well as bubble teas. There is a section on Tea Websites that sell loose-leaf tea and tea related products.

Dedicated to drinking and enjoying loose-leaf, afternoon, and bubble tea throughout the Chicagoland area, this newly revised resource provides detailed reviews, contact information, and product pricing for more than 50 tea hot spots. From nibbling scones on Chicago’s famous Gold Coast to discovering hidden gems in the surrounding suburbs, tea aficionados will find helpful icons indicating each location's private-party opportunities, proximity to public transportation, level of child-friendliness, and availability of wireless Internet. Peppered with literary quotes and statistics about tea, this comprehensive guidebook also includes information on websites that sell loose-leaf tea and tea accessories.

One book about tea that I recently read was Liquid Jade: The Story of Tea From East to West by Beatrice Hohenegger. It's a great introduction to the history and culture of tea. Definitely worth reading if you'd like to to learn about the Eastern traditions behind tea and how the West became infatuated with tea.
